I added FormValidator to my form. Unfortunately it does not display an error if I type invalid code when form is submited. What's wrong?

FormValidator is not a standalone program. Code generation and user tracking works transparently for user. However it cannot do input management for you. Handling and displaying errors is the responsibility of your script - we just provide the tools to easily check if CAPTCHA input was correct or not. Please refer to bundled instruction on input validation.

Can I use FormValidator in my software that does not meet GPL requirements? (i.e. commercial software)

Yes. FormValidator is available under dual licence: GPL and Commercial. To use FormValidator in software package that is not licenced under GPL you will have to purchase commercial licence for a symbolic price of 10EUR. You can purchase it from this page.

What is the scope of the commercial licence?

10EUR licence will entitle you - individual or company (who purchased the licence) - the right to use current or any future FormValidator 1.x versions in an unlimited number of installations (sites), servers and redistributable software packages. There are no hidden purchase or upgrade fees.

I represent hosting service provider. How many licences I have to purchase to enable FormValidator on all of the servers in my farm?

One.

Our company has developed a CMS. We charge our customers for per-installation basis. Do we need to purchase FormValidator licences for each of the installations?

No. One 10EUR licence entitles you for unlimited usage in as many installations as you need.

When will you release a new major version (i.e. 2.0) of FormValidator?

There are no plans for new version. In fact we feel that current version of FormValidator has almost all of the features needed for this kind of software so there will probably never be a new major version of FormValidator. Just updates and fixes if they will be necessary.

Can I use bundled TrueType fonts outside of FormValidator designated purpose?

No. These fonts were designed for the specific purpose and cannot be used as a standalone product.
